The absence of the annual Namibian Football Association (NFA) Cup will have a huge impact on the selection of players by the national team coach, says the body’s president, Frans Mbidi.
Mbidi told Namibian Sun yesterday that the absence of a cup competition before hosting Cosafa will have a big impact on selecting locally based players for the tournament.
He said, though, that the association has a Plan B that will see Brave Warriors coach Ricardo Mannetti and his technical team scouting for locally based players to join the Brave Warriors B team.
