Namibia Football Association (NFA) secretary-general Barry Rukoro has described the eight-year ban imposed on FIFA president Sepp Blatter as “sad”.
The Swiss national, along with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) boss Michel Platini, were on Monday suspended for eight years from all football-related activities following an independent ethics committee investigation.
“Blatter has been very good for Namibian football,” Rukoro yesterday told Namibian Sun.
