The N$100 million promised to Namibians by South African President Jacob Zuma for drought relief will finally be reality, after the two countries recently signed an agreement.
During a two-day visit to Namibia in November 2013, Zuma announced the donation and it has since emerged that the donation will be in kind, not cash.
Since early December 2013, the South African and Namibian governments have been in discussions to facilitate the assistance package.
