A group of 37 people at the Okahandja Park informal settlement, who are living with HIV, are appealing for assistance in cash or kind to build a shack where they can hold their meetings in privacy.
Members of Dr AP Kanyama Group, who are currently holding their meetings in the open under a tree, told Namibian Sun that at the moment they have no privacy and that their meetings are being disrupted by drunkards.
The situation also makes them uncomfortable to express their problems, with residents eavesdropping when they are having discussions.
