Namibians need not panic about the zika virus that broke out in Brazil and has spread at an alarming rate across South America, says health minister Bernhard Haufiku.
He points out that with the current rate of globalisation, germs can reach any part of the world any time, but that zika is concentrated in the tropical and subtropical global belts such as Brazil, the Caribbean and other islands.
