The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Bernard Esau, last week received three truckloads of canned fish from the National Fishing Corporation of Namibia (Fishcor) to the government’s drought-relief programme.
Esau said the consignment would help feed starving people. He urged companies to join hands and donate other food items such as cooking oil and maize meal to supplement the fish.
