Children are still losing parents to HIV/Aids and people living with the virus are still discriminated against despite the country’s achievements in the fight against the disease.
According to Sandi Tjaronda , Executive Director of Namibia Social Marketing Association (Nanaso), patients continue to default on the life-saving anti-retroviral treatment while expectant mothers report late for prevention of mother to child transmission and some never turn up for post-natal medical care.
