A team of private quantity surveyors and civil engineers has been appointed to get the construction of the new parliament building off the ground.
This was confirmed by Ministry of Works and Transport permanent secretary Willem Goeieman.
Goeieman said the new building will bring the National Assembly and National Council under one roof for the first time.
“We also have a team of quantity surveyors that will work hand in hand with the appointed ones but the actual supervising will be done by the private people,” said Goeieman.
