Residents attack court officers

Residents of Damara Location in Katutura on Tuesday prevented the Messenger of the Court from evicting of an elderly woman and her daughter, who are tenants of a house in Max Eixab Street.
When the Messenger of Court officers arrived, the 80-year-old Teckla Dausas was apparently taking a bath.
Neighbours attacked the officers and the brawl was stopped by police officers who were patrolling the area.
The house initially belonged to Dausas, but her granddaughter, Wilma Eveline //Hoabes, later bought it from her.
