VICTORIOUS: The Brave Warriors progressed to the second round of World Cup qualifying yesterday after beating Gambia 2-1 (aggregate score 3-2) at the Sam Nujoma Stadium. A first-half goal by Willy Stephanus and a second-half strike by South African-based striker Hendrik Somaeb were enough to hand Namibia a deserving win against the Scorpions of Gambia. Namibia will now face Guinea in the next qualifying round. In the photo, football enthusiasts cheer on the national side.
