Thirty-six years ago, at the age of 20, Daniel Frans Uusiku trekked hundreds of kilometres to Omaheke Region, to look for job opportunities.
Uusiku, who lived with his parents and six siblings at Onathinge in Oshikoto Region, left without telling any member of his family, one evening in January 1979. In the company of other job-seekers, he boarded a bus and found himself at a small Aminius farm known as Farm Bedinard.
