The City of Windhoek has launched scheduled bus services between the Okuryangava Woman Centre and Wernhil Park every Saturday on the hour.
Although still a pilot project, the scheduled services are part of the City’s Sustainable Urban Transport Master Plan, expected to address Windhoek’s transport needs.
City Public Transport Manager, Clarence Rupingena, stressed the need for urban transportation to be viewed as a right that is owed to residents.
