Women’s rugby coming along LIMBA MUPETAMI

WINDHOEK

A women’s 10-a-side rugby match will take place at Rehoboth on Saturday.

Rehoboth Women’s Rugby Club (RWRC) will face Grootfontein Rugby Club.

Last weekend the two sides also went up against one another with RWRC beating Grootfontein 42-0.

Tries were scored by Valencia van Wyk, Alicia Gertze, Whitney Daniels, Ellen Garoes and Chriszenthia Bassingthwaigte (three tries each. Gertze succeeded with two conversion kicks and one drop goal.

Sade Eimann, coach of RWRC, wished both clubs well for the weekend clash and both clubs wish to inspire more women rugby players to join the fray.
