On her Facebook fan page, Snazzy posted her latest video titled Saturday Night with the caption “Snazzy is officially back ladies and gentlemen” – and asked what she meant by that, Snazzy replied that she is not going anywhere anymore. “I’m back for good and here to stay.”
Snazzy says she learned a lot from her break away from music and people must indeed watch out. “I was doing a lot of vocal training and as I’m coming back I am not only going to be a rapper, but a singer too. She says her music will be more diverse as she will not be sticking strictly to one genre.
The rapper says she applauds the music industry, having watched from the outside. “I saw that people have actually become more creative with their music and they are becoming more original. What I love the most is that people are using social media more often compared to back then, which is great,” said Snazzy. She says social media give artists a variety of platforms to share their work and the opportunity to reach more people.
Snazzy acknowledges the other female rappers who came into the industry and urges them to keep up with the good work. “I have listened to Lioness and she is very good. It is good to actually have other local female rappers, because to be honest, I didn’t really enjoy being hate only female rapper back then,” said Snazzy.
Snazzy’s come back video Saturday Night is a party song in which she has a message celebrating her comeback. “I feel that a music video speaks louder than just producing a single alone, as it shows who you are and people can put a face to your lyrics,” she said.
Snazzy is currently working on her album, but she will be performing and her fans can be updated through her social media handles.
