Government’s recent watershed deal with land activists came just in time to forestall an inevitable crisis and appease potential investors in the local housing market, but should not be expected to bring down the prevailing exorbitant house prices, just yet.
This is according to the latest assessment by FNB Namibia, which in its latest housing index for the month of April, recorded a 6.8% month-on-month increase in median house prices.
