The government yesterday withdrew a High Court application for an urgent interdict against the Affirmative Repositioning movement’s earlier threat of illegal land grabs.
Notice of the decisions was served on AR movement leaders Job Amupanda, George Kambala and Dee Nauyoma on Friday.
President Hage Geingob and the AR leaders on Friday reached an agreement on addressing the housing crisis. They agreed to service 200 000 plots countrywide.
The breakthrough came just a week before the July 31 deadline set by Amupanda, Kambala and Nauyoma.
