Out in the cold

The ruling Swapo Party yesterday brought to an end the strained relationship with some of its youth leaders by kicking out four politicians, but Secretary-General Nangolo Mbumba said, “nobody is expelled for life”.
The four - Elijah Ngurare, Job Amupanda, George Kambala and Dee Nauyoma - were expelled following a Swapo Central Committee meeting yesterday.
Announcing the expulsion, Mbumba said the CC unanimously agreed to uphold a recommendation by the Politburo to expel the politicians.
