DTA demands additional budget for land

The DTA has challenged President Hage Geingob to be the first to recall his parliament to finalise the amendments of land-related legislation.
That, said DTA President McHenry Venaani, would ensure that the bottlenecks caused by the apartheid-era legislation are removed.
“Further to this, an additional budgetary allocation in respect of the Midterm Expenditure Framework must be provided to address the shortage of serviced land,” said Venaani.
