The State and defence counsels are expected to present arguments on the psychiatric report on murder accused Marcus Thomas before High Court Judge John Liebenberg on Tuesday.
State Advocate Antonia Verhoef’s request for a postponement to next week was granted yesterday to allow her to consult with the Prosecutor-General’s Office.
The psychiatric report by a clinical psychologist, occupational therapist and social worker concluded that Thomas is unable to stand trial because he has a “cognitive defect”.
