Elite cyclist Dan Craven, who only got an invitation to compete in the Olympic Games road cycling time trial on Tuesday, was not fast enough to get a medal for Namibia.
Craven was the first one to leave the starting point of the trials that consisted of 40 riders, with a gap of a minute and thirty seconds between the riders.
The Namibian, who only got the invite hours before the race, did not have a time trial bike, as he was not expecting to ride.
