Swapo overturns decision on Helao Nafidi deputy mayor

After having been informed to leave office by 5 August, Helao Nafidi deputy mayor Panduleni Hainghumbi was reinstated by Swapo.
The reinstatement was announced in a letter to Hainghumbi written by Swapo’s Ohangwena regional coordinator, Hafeni Hatutale.
“The higher office of the Swapo Party has overruled the political decision of 27 July 2016 and reinstated you as Swapo Party councillor for Helao Nafidi., thus nullifying this office’s letter of 2 August 2016 to you.
