Navachab half-marathon turns three

The third edition of the Navachab half-marathon will take place at Karibib next month.
Regional sport officer Berthold Karumendu said yesterday that the Navachab gold mine will sponsor this year’s race to the tune of N$45 000.
First National Bank Namibia will contribute N$5 000 while the Karibib town council will contribute N$6 400. Coca-Cola Namibia will provide drinks for the runners.
The Navachab mine’s community relations officer, Lion Kahimise, said they want to take the competition to greater heights.
