A case in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court against 19 people arrested in 2014 for allegedly forging academic qualifications has been postponed to 1 July for plea.
The suspects were arrested on suspicion that they had submitted fake qualifications from bogus colleges in Zimbabwe.
Some of them allegedly submitted fake qualifications to several institutions of higher learning for admission to further studies. Nine of them used the bogus qualifications to secure jobs in the Namibian Defence Force and Windhoek City Police.
