A man who was on Monday arrested after a live pangolin and pangolin skin were found in an office in Windhoek appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
The 37-year old man Chrispin Sibitwani was granted bail of N$1 500. The case was postponed to 1 August for further police investigations and for Sibitwani to apply for legal aid.
Pangolins are endangered species, and are believed to be the world’s most trafficked animal.
