Shifeta tackles human-wildlife conflict

Environment and Tourism Minister Pohamba Shifeta has expressed concern over the escalating cases of human-wildlife conflict in the country, saying that it is very worrisome.
Shifeta said his ministry recognises that living with wildlife often carries a cost, and that increased wildlife populations and expanded ranges into communal and freehold farming areas, result in more frequent conflicts between people and wild animals.
