City Police Chief Abraham Kanime last week said residents of Katutura and the informal settlements on the outskirts of Windhoek and Khomasdal are statistically the hardest hit victims of crime in the city.
Kanime has spearheaded a meticulous crime statistics programme for several years which provides a detailed overview of crime hot spots in the city, which is divided into 19 policing zones.
The crime statistics are broadly divided into violent crimes and property crimes.
