Speakers at a memorial service for the 15 people who died when a truck and a minibus collided on the Oshivelo-Omuthiya road last month said it was wrong to refer to car crashes as accidents.
It was said that road users are responsible for their actions and therefore the loss of lives on the roads was caused by drivers’ attitudes which can be changed.
The mass memorial service was held yesterday at the site where the gruesome collision happened on February 12 and was attended by hundreds of people.
