Rising food prices worry Swapo

The first Swapo Politburo meeting of the year expressed concern about the sky-rocketing cost of essential commodities such as water, energy and food.
This was said by the ruling party’s secretary-general Nangolo Mbumba yesterday.
This comes weeks after Namibian Sun reported that a massive price shock would hit Namibian consumers later this month when Namib Mills was expected to announce another price increase on staple foods.
