The young driver who allegedly killed three men standing on a pavement in Hochland Park on Saturday was granted bail of
N$6 000 yesterday.
Morné Mouton, 18, appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on charges of culpable homicide and the court heard that he had alcohol in his blood.
Magistrate Jermaine Muchali postponed the matter to December 8 for police investigation and laboratory test results.
Mouton, in a neck brace, was looking down most of the time and appeared emotional as he consulted with his counsel, Ray Rukoro.
