Netball championship

Netball championship GREAT VICTORIES: The national netball championship which took place over the weekend produced unexpected winners in Windhoek. The championship was created as a platform for teams of top netball-playing schools in the country to participate and compete as an incentive for schools to perform at their best. In the Under-12 category: Windhoek Gymnasium Private School took gold, Pro-Ed Academy took the second spot and walked away with silver and Windhoek Afrikaans Private School (WAP) took silver. In the Under-13: category Windhoek Gymnasium Private School won gold, WAP silver and Grootfontein silver. Under-15: Windhoek Gymnasium Private School walked away with gold, Elnatan Private School won silver and WAP took bronze. Walvis Bay Private School took gold in the Under-17 category, whereas Windhoek Gymnasium walked away with silver and Tsumeb Gymnasium Private School took third place. The Under-19 category was dominated by Windhoek High School which walked away with gold, Windhoek Gymnasium also did well in this category, walking away with silver and Elnatan Private School took bronze.
