Jeremiah Nambinga has been elected RDP new president after narrowly defeating Kandy Nehova in the second round during the party’s extraordinary national convention held at the weekend. Nambinga received 201 votes compared to Nehova’s 189 during the final voting round. Former Member of Parliament Heiko Lucks, Libolly Haufiku and Chris Nguherimo all failed to get significant support in the first round of voting. Read more about Nambinga elected new RDP President
