Suspected thief shot and killed

A 24-year old man, Florindo ‘Flo’ Njamba, was shot and killed, allegedly by a security guard, in Katutura yesterday morning.
According to the police, the security guard saw two men running across the street with a bag early yesterday morning.
The two men were allegedly searching through the bag when the security guard fired shots in their direction, hitting Njamba in the abdomen. Njamba later died at the Katutura State Hospital.
According to police spokesperson Slogan Matheus, the incident happened at around 03:00 in Aztec Street in the Nubuamis Location of Katutura. Read more about Suspected thief shot and killed
