After eight months in office, President Hage Geingob yesterday updated the nation on his administration’s achievements, which included increasing the old-age pension to N$1 000 per month, the establishment of the Ministry of Poverty Eradication and the hosting of the national dialogue on wealth distribution and poverty eradication.
He listed these milestones during a televised press conference at State House where he also announced that the long-awaited Food Bank to be based in Windhoek will open its doors by mid-2016.
