The Okahandja police were yesterday dragged into a labour dispute, after Shoprite branch manager Christa Isaacs allegedly assaulted a 46-year-old Money Market clerk for enquiring about today’s public holiday.
Isaacs is alleged to have slammed her office door into Theopoldhine Tjaaronda’s face after a scuffle.
Tjaaronda had allegedly asked her whether the retailer will be open today.
This is after President Hage Geingob earlier this week declared today a public holiday, as the nation votes in the regional and local authority elections.
