A Namibian police officer Cathleen Mbako-Angula, who was a mother of three, passed away on Monday while on a United Nations (UN) peacekeeping mission in Liberia.
This was confirmed by Police Inspector-General Sebastian Ndeitunga, who said Mbako-Angula, 42, collapsed and was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared dead at around 23:00.
“It is regrettable to lose a member who was on an international mission assisting other nations to ensure peace and security in the countries (sic),” said Ndeitunga.
