Namibia’s women Under-23 national team had an inspiring performance on Monday when they defeated the German Westphalia 3-0 in an international friendly match at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
The team had broken the undefeated sequence of events the visitors have had since they came to Namibia last week.
The local side dominated the first half but couldn’t get a goal and the first half ended 0-0.
With two minutes played in the second half, Memory Ngonda gave the home side the lead after converting a corner delivered by Thomalina Adams.
