The plan to establish the country’s first Food Bank is at an advanced stage, says Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare Minister, Bishop Zephania Kameeta.
Kameeta also confirmed that land has already been secured for the N$5.5 million Food Bank and that a groundbreaking ceremony will take place during next
month.
He also revealed that a soup kitchen that is to be part of the project will start within the next three
months.
