Errant teachers get away lightly

A fine of N$2 000, a final written warning, reduction in salary or rank, or voluntary resignation are some of the options teachers have when found guilty of misconduct.
This is according to the Public Service Act no. 13 which provides room for teachers and other civil servants, who find themselves guilty of misconduct across the different professions in the country, to manoeuvre, and in all likelihood, the victims of their crimes never see any justice.
