By this time last year, election fever had enveloped the entire Namibia. Young and old were all excited to hit the polls. Candidates’ posters and cars draped in party colours greeted Namibians every morning. November 28 last year would eventually be proclaimed a public holiday. Sadly, for the regional and local government elections slated for this November none of the above will be a reality.
