It rained goals at the opening games of the Women Super League (WSL) over the weekend, with the University of Namibia’s (Unam) Bokkies thrashing Omaheke Ladies 13-0.
The weekend featured a lot of high-scoring games as Tura Magic Ladies beat Polytechnic Babes 10-0 while NamPol Ladies beat Java Java Ladies 11-0.
Unam coach Simson Paulus told Namibian Sun yesterday that despite the lack of fitness of some of his players, the women managed to deliver good results.
Paulus said all went well for his team although they still have to iron out the fitness issue.
