OUR FUTURE: Today marks the 15th commemoration of the Day of the Namibian Child. In Namibia, children and youth under the age of 18 constitute 46% of the country’s population. This year’s commemoration is held under the theme ‘Accelerating Our Collective Efforts to End Child Marriage in Africa’. The national event will be held in the Kunene Region while in Khomas, celebrations will take place at the Baumgartsbrunn Primary School in the Windhoek Rural Constituency today.
