Tennis star honoured by NNOC

The Namibia National Olympic Committee (NNOC) yesterday rewarded tennis player Lesedi Jacobs with N$15 000 after her performance at the Commonwealth Youth Games.
Jacobs won a silver medal at the event which was held in Samoa from September 5-11.
The player told Namibian Sun that she is honoured to get such recognition.
“I want to continue doing well in future so that tennis in the country can improve,” she said.
She said she learnt a lot from other experienced players at the youth event.
