Africa our beginning – and our end We must openly proclaim this truth; since the generation of Thomas Sankara, Patrice Lumumba, Julius Nyerere, Sekou Toure, Kwame Nkrumah and others – the generations of African leaders that followed after them were characterized as thieves and opportunists. It is that generation that is responsible for the chaos we are currently experiencing in Africa today. They were supposed to take the lead and fight for economic freedom.
It is a generation that has become brutal, demanding accolades and respect when none is due.
African traditions are abused to keep these charlatans in leadership positions. But as our students have stated in previous weeks, the end is near for these clowns! The youth will not give up on Africa.
