Petrol prices down, fuel levy up

Motorists can expect slight relief from midnight tomorrow, when petrol and diesel pump prices are set to drop.
Minister of Mines and Energy Obeth Kandjoze made the announcement yesterday, crediting falling international crude prices, while warning of continued exchange-rate pressure.
As of 00:01 on Wednesday, the Walvis Bay fuel pump price of 95-octane unleaded petrol will decrease by 30 cents per litre to N$10.69 per litre.
