Drag racing hits a speed hump

I remember a time when going to a drag racing event (whether it was in Walvis Bay, Windhoek, Rehoboth, or Okahandja) was the ultimate place to be on a weekend. Fun, racing, booze and braai were part of the activities of the day.
Well, for the speed junkies that came to do what they do best at last week Saturday’s event, an absolute disappointing number of people showed up to support our home grown legends.
