Mother 24, gives birth to quadruplets

A 24-year-old Rundu woman gave birth to four baby boys by caesarean section at the Rundu State Hospital on Friday.
The Director of the Rundu State Hospital, Dr Yuri Yagazov, said the mother and babies are in a stable condition.
“They are still admitted at the hospital. The babies are very small, between 1.2 and 14 kilograms. We cannot send them home yet, it is too risky for now,” said Yagazov. He added that a feeding program must still be established because a mother cannot breastfeed four babies.
