You are leaving us a ‘skorokoro’ country! Imagine a situation whereby your father promised to hand over his car to you one day. Each day you wake up and imagine youself driving that wonderful car, a car that once belonged to your father, going to places that would be difficult to access. You imagine this car assisting you in carrying out tasks that would otherwise be hard to complete physically. A mere promise of what would happen in future helps one look forward the future without fear. That said, how would you feel if every day your father drives this car drunk, bumping pavements and causing accidents? Imagine a situation, because of your father’s reckless driving, where this car that is promised to you is ever in and out of the garage. Would you look forward such a car? Would you look forward a ‘skorokoro’? What are you likely to do? Such is the situation the Namibian youth find themselves in as they see politicians and leaders plundering our country which we are supposed to inherit.
