Prosecutor-General Martha Imalwa has confirmed that she has made a decision following the conclusion of police investigations into the shooting of Ilonga. She declined to elaborate.
On February 12, 21-year-old Martha was struck by a bullet allegedly fired by a police officer who had aimed at a getaway car.
Speaking to Namibian Sun last week, Ilonga’s cousins Selma Shaanika and Iita Jeremiah said they have desperately tried to get information about the police investigations in to the matter, but have been kept in the dark by police officers.
