To whom does tomorrow belong to? It is true that we have no control over tomorrow. Indeed, tomorrow is not similar to the present where one can make decisions on the basis of certainty. As is said in the social sciences, tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Be that as it may this does not mean that we are to approach tomorrow recklessly and unconcerned. Tomorrow always belonged to those crafting it today. Indeed, those that are preparing for tomorrow, particularly in the form of what is called in political science, ‘scenario planning’, stand a better chance of receiving better outcomes than those who take a hands-off approach. We must be concerned about tomorrow.
