Women must humble themselves before their men

The Deputy Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Christine //Hoebes, has called on women to humble themselves before their husbands and refrain from enforcing “new ideas” without consulting them. //Hoebes was responding to a question from delegates during the Women’s Summit held last week, who wanted to know how women can gain the support of their husbands in pursuit of gender equality. The question and answer session followed //Hoebes’ delivery of Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila’s speech.
